RECOMMENDATION
That Council note the report by the Noosa Community Care Coordinator to the Infrastructure &
Services Committee Meeting dated 3 March 2015 providing an update on the activities of Noosa
Community Care (NCC) to 31 December 2014.



REPORT
The purpose of this report is to advise Councillors of the Noosa Community Care activities for the
half year ending 31 December 2014.

The services provided under the HACC (Federal & State) funding are:
 Domestic Assistance
 Social support
 Allied Health Care
 Personal Care
 Centre Based Day Care
 In Home Respite Care
 Case Management
 Client Care Coordination
 Counselling /Support, Information & Advocacy
 Transport
 Home Maintenance
 Home Modifications

The services provided under the HAS (State) funding are:
 Information and Referrals regarding home safety and security
 Home Maintenance
 Home Modifications
