All agricultural uses are exempt from the Assessment Criteria with respect to the
Agricultural Land Conservation Area designation.
With respect to extractive resource areas the Overall Outcomes of the
Resource/Processing Separation Area include:
a) the development does not impact upon the extractive uses;
b) development does not impact upon the transportation of materials; and
c) the local amenity is maintained.
7. CONCLUSION
The use of aquaculture is a consistent use in the Rural Zone and the development
complies with Codes.
The development is within the character of the local area.
The proposal is relatively small scale; it will have little or no impact and requires no
additional services.
In consideration of all of the above, it is considered that there are sufficient grounds
to approve this application.
