RE: 18 Attunga Heights, Noosa Heads
Traffic Engineering Review of Vehicle Accessibility

Dear Mitch,

I refer to the proposed residential development on land located at 18 Attunga Heights, Noosa Heads.

As requested, the following has been prepared following an assessment of accessibility of the proposed on-site car
parking bays by the 85th percentile passenger vehicle (B85) and 99th percentile passenger vehicle (B99). The vehicles
tested are those defined by the Australian Standard for Off Street Car Parking (AS/NZS2890.1:2004).

In preparing this advice, reference has been made to the development layout plan provided at Attachment A.

To test accessibility of the car bays, swept path assessments have been undertaken utilising the computer program
AutoTRACK. The results of the assessment are provided at Attachment B to this advice and demonstrate:

 Forward in entry to the site, with access to all car parking bays by the B85 vehicle, with this vehicle to
              reverse out to Attunga Heights.
 Forward in entry to the site to one car parking bay in each garage by the B99 vehicle, with this vehicle to
              reverse out to Attunga Heights.
 Accessibility is demonstrated in a minimum number of manoeuvres.
 A 300mm clearance line is shown on all swept paths, depicted as the outer line on the graphical outputs.

The demonstrated accessibility is appropriate for residential car parking.

Disclaimer: The traffic engineering review of the development has been limited to a two-dimensional review of the
accessibility of car parking bays only.

I trust that the above is useful to Council in considering the Application. Should you have any questions, please feel free
to call me to discuss.

Yours sincerely,
