Re: Application of Luke and Kayla Marshall T/A Butchers of Noosa
Thank you for the privilege of allowing us to assist with your tenant search for Lot 7, 2 Grasstree
Court, Sunrise Beach (Sunrise Beach Shops). It is the view of Colliers Sunshine Coast that the
successful placement of Butchers of Noosa will be a key milestone in Noosa Council's strategic
objective of re-activating the complex. This letter outlines the process that was followed to procure
the prospective tenant and in addition our assessment of the prospective tenant for the complex.
Procurement Process
Colliers followed the procurement processes required of Council, in addition to generally accepted
methods of advertising online and approaching potentially suitable tenants within our own
database. The below table outlines the timeframes surrounding the tenant procurement.
Procurement Timeline
Pre-November 2022 Property had been advertised with other commercial leasing agents.
December 2022 to Expression of Interest campaign commences with public advertising

5 December 2022 Publicly advertised in Noosa News (1/4 page advert.). See Annexure A.
5 December 2022 to Discussions with several potential users over the leasing period.
