REPORT
Reference Approval detail Date
Preliminary Approval to carrying out building works and operational
works
REC14/0005 Development Permit to Reconfigure a Lot (1 into 2 Lots) 24 September 2014
The proposed bulk trade yard will operate independently of the existing Bunnings store. In particular:
• It will cater to builders and trade customers (as opposed to retail customers).
• The proposed bulk trade yard will be located on approved Lot 103 under the existing reconfiguration of
a lot approval.
• It will not be physically connected in any way with the existing Bunnings store (i.e. will be a stand alone
and self-contained use).
• It will have its own undercroft car park and will not rely on the existing Bunnings store for access.
Accordingly, the proposal will operate independently of the existing Bunning store. It is not for an expansion
of the existing Bunnings store and will require its own separate development permit for material change of
use. No changes are proposed to the existing Bunnings development approval.
