Log in to see the plans as drawnTable 9 shows the same information as Table 8- but with a recycling unit being installed for the treatment of the effluent water from the Auto Wash Bays. It can easily be seen that the inclusion of rainwater harvesting from the roofed areas, combined with the inclusion of the recycle unit for the Auto Wash Bays a great reduction in both the demand of fresh (mains) water of nearly ~58% or ~9 ML per year is achieved. Similarily, there is a reduction in Car Wash site effluent discharge of ~61% or ~9 ML per year. Thus, the approval of the proposed Cooroy Car Wash with both stormwater harvesting and water recycling measures installed is clearly evident. The proposed Wastewater Management and Effluent Disposal system will comply with the performance outcomes required by the Noosa Plan 2020, Part 9.4.8 Water Quality and Drainage Code PO15 to PO16. - 17 - TMC Building Design Group
