Slight amendments are proposed to the Noosaville locality code in respect to development within
the Shire Business Centre Zone to reflect the consistent / inconsistent uses. Additionally, the
allowable height for precincts E3, E4 and E5 would be raised from 8m to 10m in keeping with the
adjoining industrial estate and to better accommodate the industrial and trade related uses
planned for these precincts.
16. Advertising Devices
While the intent of the Advertising Devises Code remains the same it is proposed to make
amendments to clarify definitions and update policy around changing technologies and
commercial circumstances. It is proposed to change the way allowable signage is calculated for
multiple tenancy premises on both the primary and secondary frontages.
A clearer definition of the sign face area and types of signs is also proposed
The assessment table for development other than a material change of use within each locality
plan is also proposed to be amended so advertising devices are called up whether associated
with an MCU or not.
