RECOMMENDATION
That Council note the report by the Director Executive Services to the Services & Organisation
Committee Meeting dated 8 August 2017 providing an update on operations of the Executive
Services Department for the period 1 April to 30 June 2017.


REPORT
The purpose of this report is to inform Council of the progress of various initiatives and programs
of the Department which includes the following functions:
    Project Officer - Carbon Reduction (ZEN)
    Customer Service
    Governance
    Human Resources
    Community Engagement
    Economic Development

In future, the functions of Project Officer - Carbon Reduction (ZEN) and Economic Development
will be included in the departmental update from the Environment and Sustainable Development
Department in accordance with the new organisational structure.

The following table provides an update on the activities undertaken in the Executive Services
Department (previously Executive Office) during the period 1 April to 30 June 2017.
