Finance & Risk
Once survey of the area is completed, the required nourishment volume will be assessed against
the budget. This may require an increase to the dredging operational budget depending on the
results of the survey.
Consultation
External Consultation - Community & Stakeholder
Community complaints have been received about the level of service given the current state of
Dog Beach. Each complainant has been contacted and the schedule of works explained to them.
Internal Consultation
Strategic Planning is preparing a coastal hazard assessment plan, which encompasses this site,
aimed at providing information for the longer-term horizon of this area but provides limited
information for the immediate future.
Environmental Services are assisting with the preparation of permits and the future of this area
within the context of the new Noosa River Plan.
