       Operational Works – Stormwater, Drainage Works, Earthworks & Landscaping at
       85 Rene Street, Noosaville - Lot 4 SP244573

Downes Group Pty Ltd on behalf of Raftsea Pty Ltd, submit this response to information
request for the above-mentioned application.

This response is made in accordance with S.278 (1) (a) of the Sustainable Planning Act
2009 where the Applicant is responding to the information request by giving Council “all
of the information requested together with a notice asking the requesting authority to
proceed with the assessment of the application”

INFORMATION REQUEST DATED 20 OCTOBER 2016


Issue – Stormwater Management
The SWMP does not provide sufficient detail to fully assess the proposal. In addition, it
appears that a portion of the driveway near the grated drain is not treated.

Information Required
1      Please provide the following:
       (a)    Demonstrate how the bioretention basins have been sized to achieve
              the State Planning Policy pollutant reduction targets.
       (b)    Provide invert levels for pipework within the bioretention basins and
              demonstrate there is adequate fall between the bio retention basins
              and the receiving stormwater network.
       (c)    Demonstrate how the depth of filter media , side batters/retaining walls
              etc are consistent with the Water by Design Bioretention Technical
              Design Guidelines, in particular for batters, retaining wall/filter media
              interface treatment and filtermedia depth and acid sulfate soils
              interactions.
