2.1. Background
Development Approvals
     OPW10/2192 for Operational Works for prescribed tidal works for a 15m² roofed deck to the
       front of the building was approved no 15/03/2011. This was a retrospective approval.
     OPW14/0307 for Operational Works to extend the existing jetty was approved on
       15/01/2015.
Compliance Actions
     25/11/2015 - Compliance Notice issued for breach of Local Law 1 - engaging in a restricted
       activity in a local government controlled area and roads. Instructed to remove items from
       council controlled land.
     2/06/2017 – Infringement issued for engaging in a restricted activity in a local government
       controlled area and roads (multiple a frame signs, sailing vessels, kayaks, paddle boats and
       jet skis being stored on Local Government controlled areas)
     8/06/2017 – Compliance Notice issued for breach of Local Law 1 - engaging in a restricted
       activity in a local government controlled area and roads. Instructed to remove items from
       council controlled land.
     10/10/2017 – Caution issued for engaging in a restricted activity in a local government
       controlled area and roads.
     13/07/2018 – Compliance Notice issued for breach of Local Law 1 - engaging in a restricted
       activity in a local government controlled area and roads. Instructed to remove items from
       council controlled land. (Verbally advised owner to move items back into leased area)
     17/07/2018 - Infringement issued for engaging in a restricted activity in a local government
       controlled area and roads.
     9/12/2018 – Photos obtained showing catamarans, jet skis on Local Government controlled
       land outside of lease area.
     11/12/2018 – Caution issued for engaging in a restricted activity in a local government
       controlled area and roads. (Verbally advised the owner to move items back into leased area)
