5.   Proposed 6 month work schedule for the PCG

The following is a draft work schedule for the development of the Rufous Street Precinct over the
next six months:

December 2014
 Finalise purchase of the site
 Confirm the extent of the Rufous St Precinct project area
 Report to Council seeking funds for:
   o building demolition and asbestos removal,
   o concept design, and
   o consultation

January 2015
 Demolish the old Bowls Club buildings and remove asbestos contamination from the site
 Finalise 12 month project plan

February 2015
 Commence initial consultation with local businesses and potential partners regarding the
   Digital hub
 Hold a public meeting to discuss the suite of initiatives proposed in the Peregian Master Plan
   and the Rufous St Precinct development

March 2015
 Prepare a 2105/16 budget bid for design of the Precinct and lodgement of MCU
 Continue consultation with the community on the uses of the Rufous St Precinct

May 2015
 Complete consultation with the community regarding:
   o Retention of Open space
   o Sport, recreation and community activities on site
   o Linking the precinct into the Peregian Village
   o Parking
 Complete consultation with the business and community regarding the potential for creating a
   digital hub/incubator on the site

June 2015
 Finalise the concept design for the Precinct
 Prepare a Regional Development Australia grant application including:
   o Overall project assessment
   o Evaluation of financial options
