Consultation
The Roadmap captures the outcomes of the internal and external engagement activities and
commits to the development of climate risk management responses for Noosa and the Sunshine
Coast.
External Consultation - Community & Stakeholder
An External Survey was distributed to the residents of Noosa and Sunshine Coast Council regions,
with a cut down version being circulated to younger residents (aged 18 years and younger). The
Community survey elicited 1347 responses (234 responses from Noosa, 1113 responses from
Sunshine Coast) and 270 responses were elicited from the Youth within the region.
Additionally, 3 x two-hour on-line climate risk workshops were delivered in February 2022. Around
90 key sectoral leaders from across the region were involved in exploring climate change related
risks and opportunities for the region. These workshops delivered improved understanding of local
sectoral leader knowledge and perspectives regarding:
o    climate risks specific to our region, and the local causes of those risks;
