over the area that maintenance can be reduced to a as needs basis. Vegetation Management — Other areas a) The Concept Rehabilitation Plan specifies the planting regime, management and species pallet for each rehabilitation zones within the development areas. Zone 1 is the area to rehabilitated as a wetland to compliment the adjacent wetland areas. This is considered to be part of the existing vegetation assemblage and as such will not result in an increase in area of this relatively small stand within the development site. Zone 2 covers the area which will form a vegetative screen between the southern Eco-cabins and Noosa Drive. As this area is too narrow and is separated from any area of acknowledged bushfire hazard to present a bushfire risk to the development proposal. Zone 3 covers the proposed detention basin and the basin will be vegetated with sedges and water tolerant grasses. This is an artificial area and as such regular maintenance will be required to ensure weeds and other wetland sedges such as Typha orientalis and Phragmites australis do not gain a foot- hold in the basin and increase the average height of sedges within this area. Zone 5 — Balance area amongst cabins area is to be in accordance with the Concept Rehabilitation Plan (Gondwana Ecology Group). The Zone 5 area is to be managed on a day-to-day basis by the RACV Noosa Resort to maintain the plantings / rehabilitation in a viable condition and to ensure that no vegetation would become a bushfire risk to any of the Eco-cabins or boardwalk structures. Emergency Response - Bushfire a) The current Emergency Response Plan covering the RACV Noosa Resort is to be updated to include the Eco-Cabins and all existing actions and responsibilities are to be adopted for the Eco-cabins with respect to vegetation and structural fires. Building Compliance a) b) Building Compliance under the National Construction Code is to be conditioned by the certified Building Certifier. We note QFES will be required to advise on fire hydrants and structural fire mitigation issues for the proposed Eco-cabin structures.
