That Council note the report by the Director Executive Services to the General Committee Meeting
dated 24 October 2022 and adopt the Noosa Council organisational structure as set out in
Attachment 1 to the report.
Finance
Budget impact $500,000 - $520,000, actual impact less costs of hybrid structure $240,000 -
$250,000.
Risks & Opportunities
Continuing with the current structure will see ongoing perception issues in relation to internal
communication and “siloing” within the organisation.
The current structure will not align to the Corporate Plan.
Future focused functions of the Council will remain embedded below the operational line within
departments and limit their ability to be strategic.
