GENERAL COMMITTEE MEETING AGENDA                                                    28 APRIL 2014


For the sake of clarity, it is only the formal Council Ordinary Meeting which is being held at these
locations with the normal Committee Meetings for that meeting cycle being held at the Tewantin
office.

Holding six monthly meetings within the community increases opportunities for our community to
raise issues and discuss matters with our Mayor, Councillors and senior staff. In future years,
alternative venues will be selected for holding Council meetings within different communities
across our shire.


Previous Council Consideration
The adoption of the Council meeting cycle and committee arrangements was undertaken at the
meeting of 2 January 2014. The Council has not previously passed any resolutions regarding the
holding of Council meetings away from its public office at Tewantin

with the Mayor.
