Appendix 4 - Noise impact assessment
7. CONCLUSION
This acoustic report has been prepared to support a Development Application for the proposed redevelopment
of the Noosaville Service Station at the Corner of Mary Street and Weyba Road, Noosaville, Qld 4566. The
development site falls within an existing business zone and is surrounded by residences and commercial
premises.
Mechanical plant will be located on the ground and the existing hours of operation (5:00am to 10:00pm) will
be maintained. The noise emissions from the site will be reduced due to the relocation and selection of new
ground mounted mechanical plant and boundary noise barriers.
Conclusions
• Noise emissions from the operation of the proposed service station redevelopment were forecast to
comply with the noise criteria provided the noise control recommendations in this report are installed.
Recommendations
• Acoustic noise controls as outlined in this report should be constructed as described in Section 6 of
this report.
