BAL – 12.5 BAL - 19 BAL - 29 BAL - 40
Northwest (men’s accom.) 28.6m 21m 14.7m 11m
North 22.9m 15.9m 10.8m 8m

The above setback requirements for each elevation have been provided to inform asset
protection zones required to separate the proposed development from potential sources of
bushfire hazard, given achievement of relevant building construction standards. N.B. In order
to comply with NSC minimum setback requirements, a minimum of 10m setback has been
applied. It is understood that the Bushfire Asset Protection Zones, as detailed above, are
represented in Figure 5, with respect to the proposed development layout. Consequently, the
proposed development is considered to achieve a maximum BAL rating of BAl-29 for all
structures.
