Comments from Charlie: normally 1 doz or so Stall holders; carries the club through for the year. Currently using other premises which are unsuitable because festival cannot be held there
because it can only accomodate a couple of stalls; Huge blow for us; disgrace on council not coming to the party sooner; definitely would be back; can't happen soon enough. Willing to assist
with fund-raising; could possibly donate items for raffles.

Comments : Don't like school hall because at short notice can be out and have no venue. Kitchen would be needed to serve food only for supper. Probably would be back

Comments : by Ron Sutton and various other members; hall should never have been closed, maintenance should have been provided by RSL club as trustees and or Council should have looked
after the hall as a respect to armed forces personel. Very disappointed. Currently service is being held outdoors. What if it rains? There is no other suitable venue; The hall is a memorial. Hall 7
could display items of memorial significance but only if the sub-branch are satisfied that the items are going to be well cared for as previously the sub-branch felt this could have been better. Ran
Comments : by Neville Jones also in relation to the memorial monument on the eastern side of town. History of the memorial placement there was that a lady who lost several close family ca
members; husband and sons it is believed, used to live up that way and the memorial was considered to be appropriately placed so that she could walk past and see the memorial to her lost oe
family members. Very good reason why it should never be moved; like moving a gravestone. From a historical aspect also perhaps it should never be removed as the site is significant in it's 5
history. A
