5.0 CONCLUSION
This site-based stormwater management plan has reviewed the stormwater quality
management at the proposed development at Noosaville, Queensland.
Based on this assessment the following conclusions have been made:
The proposed development includes Stormwater Quality Improvement Devices being
bioretention basins and vegetated swales treating post-developed flows from the
proposed road reserve only, in accordance with the Qld SPP (2017). The total amount
of treatment devices are as follows:
o Vegetated swale (total length) = 20m
o Bioretention basin (total area) = 125m2
In the event the individual lots created by this subdivision are developed, they will require
SQIDs to satisfy stormwater runoff pollutant removal targets for each specific lot.
In summary, stormwater leaving the site will satisfy the pollutant removal criteria in Council’s
Planning Scheme and the Qld SPP.
