EXECUTIVE SUMMARY Barlow Shelley Consulting Engineers Pty Ltd has been commissioned by Stockwell Pty Ltd to undertake a Site Based Stormwater Management Plan (SBSMP) for the proposed subdivision development at Lot 3 on SP246584 Eenie Creek Road, Noosaville, Queensland. An assessment of the stormwater quality requirements has been carried out in accordance with the Noosa Council Planning Scheme 2017. Stormwater quality improvement devices (SQIDs) are proposed to treat the road reserve, which is greater than 2,500 m2, therefore pollutant reduction targets must be met as per the Noosa Council Planning Scheme (2017) and Qld SPP (2017). A treatment train consisting of bioretention systems and a vegetated swale are proposed to mitigate pollutant load to meet the WSUD pollutant load reduction targets. The total bioretention filter area is 125m2 and the total swale length is 20m. The bioretention systems are situated in the road reserve or proposed drainage reserve and will be designed in accordance with the WSUD technical guidelines. When the individual lots created by this proposed subdivision are developed, they will require SQIDs to satisfy stormwater runoff pollutant removal targets.
