4. Discussion The results of the noise propagation modelling indicate compliance with the relevant environmental noise criteria at all times. The proposed 2.6m high acoustic fence should follow the alignment of the existing fence. Acceptable construction for the 2.6m acoustic fence is overlapping timber palings, fibre-cement, or any other material with a minimum density of 12.5 kg/m2. ATP Consulting is satisfied that with the proposed 2.6 metre high acoustic fence and implementation of the other noise control measures as outlined in the detailed report dated 24 June 2015 (ATP150314-NIA-02), the operation of Village Bicycle café will not result in unreasonable noise at the nearest noise sensitive places. Should you have any questions about the noise assessment presented in this document, please do not hesitate to contact our office on (07) 5593 0487.
