The spent litter will be spread throughout the avocado orchard within 4 to 5
weeks of removal from the poultry sheds as a replacement to the imported
commercial fertilisers currently used at the site. Smaller amounts of custom
blended commercial fertilisers will be required to supplement the nutrients
available from the poultry litter.
The farm will be accessed via the existing roadway through the site off Top
Forestry Road.
