Woolgoolga to Ballina Pacific Highway Upgrade - Koala Management Plan - NSW roads
and Maritime Service

= Development of a Koala Management Plan for the Woolgoolga to Ballina section of the
Pacific Highway between Hexham and the Queensland border (part of the Pacific Highway
Upgrade Program)

= Koala Management Plan addressed the potential and residual impacts of the upgrade on
Koala (Phascolarctos cinereus) populations and potential habitat. The Plan was developed
in consultation with the NSW Office of Environment and Heritage (OEH) and the
Commonwealth Department of Sustainability, Environment, Water, People and
Communities (DSEWPaC)

Ecological assessment and surveys of the Stage 2 Richlands to Springfield Transport
Corridor — TrackStar Alliance

= Ecological assessment of facility sites associated with the Transport Corridor (eg
Springfield Station car park)

= Targeted EVNT flora surveys for 4 species known to occur within region, including
Marsdenia coronata, Maundia triglochinoides, Eucalyptus curtisii and Phaius australis

= Verification of Regional Ecosystem and High Value Regrowth mapping

= Weed surveys to record the location of species declared under the provisions of the Land
Protection (Pest and Stock Route Management) Act 2002

= Koala habitat tree survey in accordance with the requirements of the Nature Conservation
(Koala) Conservation Plan 2006 and the South East Queensland Koala Conservation
State Planning Regulatory Provisions

= Identification of suitable design and locations for the placement of gates/structures to allow
safe fauna passage

Review and update of GLNG Upstream EPC Environmental Management Plan and
Regulatory and Compliance Plan — Santos Ltd

= Initial gap analysis of the EMP content and the Commitments Register with regard to the
current environmental authorities, CG's Report, EPBC Act Approval and other relevant
project approval conditions

= Meetings and workshops with key members of the GLNG Upstream and EPC
environmental management teams to identify objectives of the review and areas for
improvement

= Review and update of the EMP and associated sub-plans including plans relating to the
management of key components of CSG field development such as land disturbance, flora
and fauna management and pest and weed

= Restructuring and streamlining of the EMP and sub-plans for the effective and efficient
management of environmental elements during the construction phase of CSG
development

GLNG Upstream Internal Land Disturbance Approval Process, CSG Fields, Queensland

= Secondment to Santos for a period of 12 months, working within the Environment and
Sustainability Team assisting in developing an ecological survey methodology and GIS
data capture framework in accordance with Santos’ Environmental Authorities, EPBC Act
Approval conditions and the other relevant statutory requirements

= Provision of ecological advice and guidance in developing an internal environmental
assessment and approval process for the CSG fields

= Review and evaluation of environmental authority conditions for the CSG fields, including a
review of rehabilitation final acceptance criteria in context of current published literature for
rehabilitation of vegetation communities in the Brigalow Belt Bioregion
