The legal costs involved in the transfer of the lease, even if the transfer fails to eventuate is
the responsibility of the current lessee.
Should the proposed assignment not be approved, Council would then be required to go to
public tender on lease expiry in May 2016, during which time it is likely that the premises
would be vacant resulting in a loss in earnings.
