The application acknowledges the residential proposal raises conflicts with the site’s
Community Services zoning and submits grounds in support of the development considered
sufficient to overcome the planning conflicts.
2. SITE DETAILS
2.1. Background
The site contains an existing detached house and an existing unit building with 4 units on Lot
903, which appears to have been constructed in the 1960s or 1970s and pre-dates planning
approvals for the area.
A pre-lodgement meeting was held with the applicant in September 2014 for a 21 unit
proposal on the site. A number of built form, population density and traffic concerns were
raised with that design, which have been addressed in the current proposal.
