PLANNING & ORGANISATION COMMITTEE MEETING AGENDA 13 OCTOBER 2015
A number of the lower level units are allocated private courtyard areas but substantial
portions of the site will be left as communal open space. A roofed communal deck and BBQ
area is proposed in the northeast corner of the site and a number of existing large shade
trees are proposed to be retained. Dedication of a 3 metre wide pedestrian easement is
proposed along the northernmost boundary to provide a new formalised link between the
Council carpark to the east and the public laneway to the northwest.
A stormwater detention and treatment basin is proposed adjacent the Doonella Street
frontage in the southeast corner of the site. Vehicle access is via an upgraded crossover at
the western end of the site frontage with another existing crossover to the east to be
removed.
Figures 1 to 3 below show the proposed site layout and front building perspectives. Full
proposal plans are included as Attachment 1 and a Landscape Concept Plan is included as
Attachment 2.
