RECOMMENDATION
That Council note the report by the Libraries & Galleries Manager to the Services & Organisation
Committee Meeting dated 6 December 2016 and award tender 1516T102 to Ecovist Pty Ltd for a
contract value of $404,535 ($134,845 ex GST per year over three years) with an option for 3 x 12
month renewals to the contract upon expiration of the initial three year contract period.


REPORT
This report outlines the tender process for cleaning services for the Noosa Library Service
facilities, including Noosaville Library, Cooroy Library and the Mobile Library and recommends
awarding the tender to Ecovist Pty Ltd.

1.                      Tender Process

An Invitation to Tender was advertised locally via the Noosa News and Sunshine Coast Daily and
nationally via the LG Tender Box portal, in accordance with Noosa Council’s Procurement Policy.

All suppliers intending to lodge a tender response were required to attend a site inspection.

2.                      Tender Assessment

Thirteen (13) conforming tenders were received and the tender evaluation panel carried out an
assessment of these submissions from the following suppliers:
