2.2.         Refuse Bins and Equipment Requirements
Table 2.4 and Table 2.5 below outlines the number of bins and additional equipment required for the
development when based on Noosa Shire Councils waste department’s preferred strategy.

As waste volumes may vary according to the development occupants’ attitudes to waste disposal and
recycling, bin numbers and sizes may need to be altered to suit the building operation. The table shows the
maximum number of bins and equipment expected.
