Bus Stop Expresso Objection
Attached to the e-mail PM Submission - Joyce Brumley - MCU21/0194.01.
structures together with the excessive numbers of cars parked on the road reserve is visually exhausting for a rural setting. It impacts on my privacy, devalues my property, and may lead to an increase in my house, home contents and car insurance. During the night, the bus lights are left on (see image) and this distracts from the scenic amenity and disadvantages the Koala corridor on my property. For business purposes of this magnitude, this rural zone does not meet the requirements needed including safe speed zones for traffic, walking pathways for pedestrians, designated parking spots nor any appointed authority presence to overlook business practices, parking and the safety of the public accessing the business. 7. Public Health and Food Safety: Outdoor dining in a dusty environment due to erosion of road reserve caused by excessive car parking and there is an obvious lack of toilet facilities to accommodate both staff and the number of customers. It is my hope that this application is denied as it does not meet the overall outcomes required for a roadside stall/food and drink outlet for the rural zone. If this application is approved, what remedies is council going to put in place to protect my interests as a resident living in the rural zone? Should you have any questions in relation to my objection, please do not hesitate to contact me on 0408248420 or via my email: [email protected] Yours Sincerely, gety Joyce Carolyn Brumley
