Acoustic Report - Sunshine Beach Surf Club change MCU17-0024.01
5. TEST PROCEDURE
The entertainment noise testing was conducted across three separate days. Originally the testing
was to occur before the Surf Club reopened, but construction delays meant that the preferred
option of testing before the reopening was unavailable. Background measurements were conducted
on Monday 9th December 2019 at 10:00pm and midnight. The music component of the testing was
conducted in the morning (before the Surf Club opened for trade) on Thursday 23rd and Tuesday
28th January 2020.
The zones, sound systems and window and doors configurations that were tested are summarised
in Table 2. In total 10 different zones/sound systems were tested.
