travelling from the south (Rene Street) to the development site will enter the southern access
driveway.
Consideration has also been given to vehicles leaving the site. It is anticipated that the majority of
trips (90%) will travel north, back, onto Hofmann Drive and Eenie Creek Road, and will therefore
leave the site via the northern access driveway. It is anticipated that the remaining trips (10%) will
travel south, via Rene Street, and will exit the development via the southern access.
The distribution of the development generated traffic is shown graphically in Figure 4-2.

4.4       DEVEOPMENT SCENARIOS
For the purpose of assessing the future traffic demand, an annual growth rate of 2% per annum
has been adopted. It has been identified that there are four (4) assessment scenarios for the road
network performance and are as follows:
       Opening year (2022) traffic scenario. This analysis incorporates the 2% annual growth
          rate to predict the future background traffic volumes;
         Opening year (2022) background traffic with the development generated traffic volumes;
       Future year design horizon (2032) background traffic scenario. This analysis again
          incorporates the 2% annual growth rate to predict the future background traffic volumes;
          and
       Future year design horizon (2032) background traffic with the development generated
          traffic volumes.
