The results presented in Table 4-5 indicate that the access will theoretically operate well within
the practical capacity for a priority controlled intersection (DoS < 0.8). The delays and queues are
well within acceptable limits, with the worst performing leg recording an average delay of 6.6s and
a queue of 7.8m. Therefore, it can be concluded that the development will not adversely impact
the performance of the Hofmann Drive / Northern Access intersection in 2022.
The results for the analysis of the background traffic and with development traffic scenarios for
the Hofmann Drive / Northern Access intersection in the future design horizon year (2032) have
been summaries in Table 4-6. Detailed SIDRA outputs have been included in Appendix D.
