The results for the analysis of the background traffic and with development traffic for the Rene
Street / Southern Access intersection in the opening year (2022) have been summaries in Table
4-7. Detailed SIDRA outputs have been included in Appendix D.

The results presented in Table 4-7 indicate that the access will theoretically operate well within
the practical capacity for a priority controlled intersection (DoS < 0.8). The delays are well within
acceptable limits with the worst performing leg recording an average delay of 9.3s and all legs
scoring LoS A. Queues are also within acceptable limits with the worst performing leg, Rene
Street (North), resulting in a theoretical 95% back of queue of 4.7m, well within the storage
capacity of the right-turn lane. Therefore, it can be concluded that the development will not
adversely impact the performance of the Rene Street / Southern Access intersection in 2022.
The results for the analysis of the background traffic and with development traffic scenarios for
the Rene Street / Southern Access intersection in the future design horizon year (2032) have
been summaries in Table 4-8. Detailed SIDRA outputs have been included in Appendix D.
