PLANNING & ORGANISATION COMMITTEE MEETING AGENDA 11 NOVEMBER 2014
Option 2. Have the Trustee Lease and the Trustee Licence areas over the hangar
footprints as per Council’s previous decision and issue an additional Trustee Licence over
the infrastructure outside the hangar footprint.
SCAI Trustee Lease (proposed lease area B) – over new hangar and a Trustee
Licence over new plumbing infrastructure; and
SCMF Trustee Licence (proposed lease area A) – over existing hangar and a Trustee
Licence over existing plumbing infrastructure
This option would require multiple tenure agreements for each group which may lead to
confusion over roles and responsibilities outlined in the various tenure agreements. This will
also increase the establishment costs for the tenure agreements for both parties.
Option 3. Keep Trustee Lease and Trustee Licence areas over the hangar footprint as
per Council’s previous decision and request the SCAI amend the building & plumbing
infrastructure to suit Council’s Decision of 29 May 2014.
SCAI Trustee Lease (proposed lease area B) – reduce new hangar size to
accommodate plumbing infrastructure within the existing Council Decision area; and
SCMF Trustee Licence (proposed lease area A) – over existing hangar and existing
plumbing infrastructure
This option would be seen to impose unnecessary complexity through additional time and
costs for redesign of the hangar and changes to existing Council & building approvals for the
members of the SCAI.
All options will require a revised lease survey plan to be submitted to Council.
