Flood Duration
Isolation occurs when the lowest point on the evacuation route i.e. Lake Weyba Drive has floodwaters with a
depth above 0.3m (i.e. not deemed trafficable).
An extreme flood event like that seen in 1992 could leave future residents of the proposed development
isolated for approximately 10 hours and the site, except for the building pads, driveways and other built up
parts, inundated for a period of up to 31 hours (i.e. above 1.5mAHD).
Evacuation Risks
The site evacuation route has been assessed as starting at the Lake Weyba Drive access driveway, which is
located on the eastern property boundary as indicated in Figure A-6. For the purposes of evacuation planning,
evacuation via the Lake Weyba Drive access driveway or Sail St has been assessed.
