ORDINARY MEETING MINUTES 18 AUGUST 2022
7 UPDATE TO INFRASTRUCTURE CHARGES RESOLUTION
That Council note the report by the Infrastructure Assessment Coordinator to the
Planning & Environment Committee Meeting dated 9 August 2022 and adopt the “Noosa

to replace the “Noosa Shire Council Charges Resolution (No.6) 2021” and take effect on

1 PLANNING APPLICATIONS DECIDED BY DELEGATED AUTHORITY – JUNE 2022
In accordance with Chapter 5B of the Local Government Act 2009, Cr Jurisevic provided the
following declaration to the meeting of a declarable conflict of interest in this matter:
I, Cr Jurisevic declare I have a declarable conflict of interest in this matter as the matter is a
planning application for Noosa Heads Villa at Parkridge (Item 15, page 95 of Planning &
Environment Committee Agenda) that is owned by Chris Wright and Kelly Bristow, as I understand
it. My family and I have had a close relationship with Chris Wright and his family over the years
that we have lived in Tewantin. The nature of the relationship stems from my wife having worked
for Chris’ wife, Kelly and in the same office where Chris’ business is located. Kelly was also the
Treasurer of the Sunshine Beach State High School P&C during my term as P&C President. My
wife and I attended Chris and Kelly’s wedding as well as several social gatherings at each other’s
houses over the years as our children were close friends and attended the same playgroup and
schools growing up. As a result of my conflict, I will leave the meeting room while the matter is
considered and voted on.
Cr Jurisevic left the meeting room.
