Att 2 - Revised Car Parking Assmt
TIA (RESPONSE TO IR) 9 RENE ST, NOOSAVILLE RTE REF: 20401 1.0 INTRODUCTION Rytenskild Traffic Engineering (RTE) has been engaged by Hayden Weir to prepare a Car Parking Assessment for his proposed distillery and bar at Noosaville. This report forms part of a Development Application to be lodged with the Noosa Council. This is an updated version of the original traffic report in response to Councils Information Request (MCU22/0115), dated 28 July 2022. Our responses to Items 4, 5, 7 and 8 of the request are provided below, with additional information provided within the report where necessary. Item: Response: 4) The proposal is for a distillery with an ancillary bar and retail outlet. It is intended that the bar will operate with capacity for up to 40 patrons, and will be managed by no more than two staff. The bar and retail outlet are proposed to only operate after 5pm on a Friday, Saturday and Sunday when the on-street parking demand in the immediate vicinity of the site is low. The daily operations of the distillery will be managed by no more than three staff, with little to no demand for visitors during the day. Deliveries to the site will be carried out during business hours, with up to eight deliveries expected per week. Such will park at the rear of the site and will exit the development in a forward gear. Based on the above, it is considered that the proposed car parking provision of 5 spaces is satisfactory and meets the demand generated by staff working at site, allowing for a changeover between daily operations and afterhours trading. As discussed in Section 4, there is sufficient car parking provided in the immediate vicinity of the site to facilitate the visitor demand during the afterhours trading period. 5) As shown in Figure 3.1, the proposal provides bicycle parking facilities suitable for four bikes at the rear of the tenancy.
