Criteria Site Specific Assessment of Compliance

Vegetation that falls within the Environmental Enhancement category comprises regional ecosystems that
possess at least one of the following environmental values or criteria—

 1) The regional conservation status under Not Applicable
      the Queensland Vegetation Management
Neither RE12.2.5 nor RE12.2.14 have an Of Concern status pursuant
Act 1999 is “Of Concern”; or
                                                   to the VM Act 1999.

 2) The extent reserved within protected Not Applicable
areas in Noosa is ‘medium’, as identified
The cited report Vegetation of Noosa Shire (ed 2, 2003), Table 17.1
      in Vegetation of Noosa Shire.
lists both RE12.2.5 and RE12.2.14 as having a High extent reserved

With respect to the classification of the entire Site as a Riparian Buffer Area, it is noted that the Noosa Plan
does not provide specific criteria that need to be satisfied with respect to the Riparian Buffer Area classification.
Nevertheless, the Noosa Plan does contain a number of relevant definitions which can be used to verify
whether or not the classification of the entire Site as a riparian Buffer Area is warranted. Table 5-5 provides
such an analysis of the Riparian Buffer Area classification of the Site.
