I refer to your application and advise that Council requires further information to satisfactorily
assess the proposal.

2. INFORMATION REQUIRED
The information requested is set out below:
Issue
The subject site is part of a Group Title Plan and as such has a small frontage to the canal
(7.923m). The Waterways Works Code of The Noosa Plan 2020 includes specific acceptable
outcomes (AO16.2) regarding lots with narrow frontages. For lots with a narrow frontage it is
Council’s preference that a joint application with the adjoining property is submitted. The
submitted material includes the statement “This has been done as our client’s neighbour was
unwilling to contribute to the cost of the jetty and therefore our client wanted the jetty to remain
wholly in his waterspace” but does not include written advice from the adjoining owner.
Information Required
1. Provide written advice from the adjoining owner clarifying their position in regard to being
part of a shared jetty arrangement.
3. DUE DATE FOR RESPONSE TO INFORMATION REQUEST
The due date for providing the requested information is 30 June 2022. Email your response to

in accordance with section 13 of the Development Assessment Rules.
