While changes in Noosa sales volumes have tracked relatively consistently with SEQ, median sales prices in Noosa
have increased substantially more than in SEQ. Figure 2.10 shows the median sales price for all dwellings in Noosa
reached $1.1 million in YE March 2022, having increased from $720,000 in YE March 2020. This represents a
56.8% increase in dwelling prices, compared to a 26.9% increase in dwelling prices in SEQ over the same period.

Time-series comparisons of median sales prices in Noosa compared to SEQ by property type are provided in
Appendix A, with:
• Attached dwelling prices (i.e., units, apartments, townhouses) increasing by 41.4% from $665,000 to $940,000
in Noosa between YE March 2020 and YE March 2022, compared to a 14.2% increase in SEQ.
