1. INTRODUCTION
Water Sensitive Urban Design (WSUD) has been implemented within the design of the stormwater
drainage system for this development. The purpose of this design is to improve the quality of the
stormwater that is discharged from the site during its operational phase. This manual outlines the
maintenance requirements needed to ensure the devices installed during the construction process
are maintained in order to provide an efficient reduction in pollutant loads. Stormwater Quality
Improvement Devices (SQIDs) implemented within this development include:
Rainwater Reuse Tanks;
Gross Pollutant Traps; and
Bioretention System.
