It is important to note that the Financial Summary provided in this report is for project lifecycle
progress i.e. a major project funded over multiple years, and which commenced in an earlier
financial year, may be significantly further progressed than the 2023/2024 financials indicate).

This report does not address disaster recovery projects, which are subject to separate reporting.

1. Current Projects
The major focus in the 3rd quarter of the 2023/24 financial year has been:
   • Continuing various stages of construction of major projects including:
           o   Sunshine Beach, Adams Street - Land Slip Design
           o   Noosa Heads – Dog Beach Sand Nourishment Works
           o   Noosa Heads, Garth Prowd Bridge – Renewal
           o   Tewantin, Memorial Park/ Poinciana Avenue Pathway – Upgrade
           o   Noosa Shire - Pathway Renewal Program
           o   Cooroy, Butter Factory Arts Centre – BFAC Renewal


   •   Emergent works within 2023/24 financial year include:
           o   Federal, 1033 Back Mountain Rd - Environmental Land Purcha
           o   Federal, 68 Padilpa Road - Environmental Land Purchase
           o   Federal, Federal Hall - Structural Rectification Works
           o   Federal, Federal State School - Infrastructure Upgrade
           o   Kin Kin, School of Arts - Ceiling Replacement
           o   Noosa Heads, Noosa Drive - CCTV and Street Light Replacement
           o   Noosaville - 90 Goodchap Street - Office Fit-out
           o   Noosaville, Local Disaster Coordination Centre - Building Establishment


   •   Review of tender submissions for a number of major projects also budgeted for delivery this
       financial year have been underway; these include:
           o   Peregian Beach, Skate Park – Design & Construct Upgrade
           o   Sunshine Beach, Belmore Tce - Pathway Renewal
           o   Noosaville, Noosa Leisure Centre - Outdoor Court Upgrade
           o   Noosaville – Noosaville Library – Public Amenities Upgrade


   •   Upcoming tenders also budgeted for construction commencement in the 2023/24 financial
       year include:
           o   Tewantin, Doonella Bridge – Design
           o   Cooroy, Butter Factory Arts Centre – Heritage restoration
           o   Tewantin, Moorindil Street – Ferry Landings/Bank Stabilisation
           o   Sunshine Beach, Belmore Terrace – Pathway Renewal
           o   Noosa Heads, Lions Park – Amenities Upgrade
