1. INTRODUCTION
Creekgold Pty Ltd is proposing to develop a mixed use development on a site formally
identified as Lot 4 RP 852045. The proposal consists of a range of uses including a
service station, car wash, small supermarket, fast food restaurant with drive thru, self-
storage units and a tourist park.
The subject site, as shown in Figure 1.1, is a 6.77 hectare lot located at the entrance to
the Cooroy township area and fronts Myall Road to the East and the Bruce Highway off-
ramp to the West. The site is currently vacant and zoned rural in the Cooroy-Lake
McDonald Zone of the Noosa Plan 2006.
