In addition to the Council Officer comments at Attachment 1, additional commentary is provided in
relation to initiatives marked as "on track" which which may be on-going and relisted as initiatives in
the new 2023-24 Operational Plan. The following analysis can be provided for behind schedule, not
started or projects requiring further commentary:

1.4 – Implementation of the Waste Strategy is behind schedule however Councillor workshops and
public consultation has occurred. The Waste Strategy is expected to be adopted in September 2023.

1.5 – Review of the Noosa Design Principles is progressing and targeted consultation has occurred.
The initiative has been incorporated in the new 2023-24 Operational Plan.

1.7 – SEMP is is on track with an operational environmental permit approved and contract awarded.
This initiative has been incorporated in the new 2023-24 Operational Plan and will continue to be
monitored for delivery in 2023.

1.7 – Household Recycling Decontamination initiative has not commenced due to resourcing and
will be implemented as an action from the Waste Strategy. This initiative has been incorporated in
the new 2023-24 Operational Plan.

3.2 – DMP project is behind schedule however the LDMP was adopted by the LDMG in February
and is expected to presented to Council in Q1/Q2. This initiative has been incorporated in the new
2023-24 Operational Plan.

4.1 – Amendments to the Planning Scheme and progress of the Place Making projects were
previously behind schedule however both items are now progressing and have been incorporated in
the new 2023-24 Operational Plan.

4.2 – Noosa Woods Jetty project behind schedule, draft consultancy report prepared, consultation
process to commence in 2023-24 subject to resourcing. This initiative has been incorporated in the
new 2023-24 Operational Plan.

4.5 – Community Indicators/performance measures, performance measures have been included in
the development of the new Noosa Council Corporate Plan 2023-28 and will be further reviewed.
Initiatives to develop a performance measurement framework and implement a new corporate
reporting system have been incorporated in the new 2023-24 Operational Plan.

4.7 - Cemeteries Management Plan not commenced however the requirement for a full cemeteries
management plan has been incorporated in the new 2023-24 Operational Plan.

5.1 – Customer Service Charter review behind schedule as result of the reallocation of the project
following the organisational realignment. This initiative has been incorporated in the initiative to
develop a customer experience program which has been incorporated in the new 2023-24
Operational Plan.
