7.0 CONCLUSIONS
Odyssey Consulting Group has been commissioned by Good Shepherd Lutheran College to prepare a
Conceptual Stormwater Management Plan (CSWMP) for the Proposed Carpark at 115 Eumundi Noosa
         Road, Noosaville.

This CSWMP details the conceptual planning, layout and design of the stormwater management
infrastructure for both the construction and operational phases of this development.

Hydraulic analysis demonstrated that the development will result in an increase in peak runoff as
                                                                                             3
compared with the pre development scenario. An open-air detention basin with 133 m of volume is
proposed to mitigate the increase in flows from the development.
                                                           2 2 2
A combination of two bio retention basins, 20 m and 4m respectively and 219m of permeable
pavement is proposed for the operational phase of the development to treat stormwater runoff. A
sediment and erosion control plan has been provided for the construction phase of the development
and shall be implemented by the contractor and developer.
