FINAL Response to Information Request_ 03.05.2016
Attached to the e-mail MCU15/0109 - Response to Information Request - Email 1 of 6.msg.
In the case of buildings D-G, bulk bins will be moved to the nominated bin collection bays by the site
manager for collection, and then wheeled back to the basement storage area.
The refuse truck will park temporarily within the main internal private road while collecting bins.
It is considered that the above and attached response from Morgan Consulting Engineers provides sufficient
detail about the waste management strategy for the “high level” planning approval phase of the development. A
waste management plan prepared in accordance with Council’s Planning Policies 9 and 11 will be provided to
Council prior to the issue of operational works approval. It is requested that Council include an approval condition
to this effect.

bends particularly in relation to a refuse trucks, or the like, accessing the site.
Information Required
7. Provide an amended design for the driveway (Road 1) that includes/addresses the following:
a. Minimum inner curve radius of 20m at all bends.

vehicles (Noosa RCV and B99 passenger car) can pass each other safely at these bends.
c. Provide safe sight distances analysis at the critical sections of the driveway particularly near
the accesses to Block D and Block F.
d. A turning circle 9.0m in radius at the two temporary cul-de-sac ends and showing the
dimensions of the proposed access easements on Precinct F site.
e. A traffic median island (mountable if necessary) at the development site’s access point to
discourage drivers from turning right when exiting the site.
