Minor Disruption 41-50%
The Noosa Koala Conservation Plan is currently in draft form. The release of the Draft State Koala Conservation Plan Discussion Paper in early 2026 has necessitated a review of the Noosa Koala Conservation Plan to ensure alignment and consistency with the State framework once the final State Plan is released. In the meantime, a range of on-ground and research initiatives associated with both the current and draft plans are being delivered during the year, including threat management activities and habitat protection and restoration works to support koala conservation outcomes.
