Completed 100%

The Corporate Plan action to scope an appropriate capability framework for Corporate Services is now complete. Using the draft Noosa Business Capability Model as the foundation, a draft framework covering 35 capabilities across Finance, People & Culture and ICT has been developed, aligned to the Corporate Plan 2023– 2028 objectives, and supported by and a maturity assessment tool. The scoping work has identified that to receive the greatest value, the framework should be expanded to cover all Council capabilities - not just Corporate Services - and that specialised, independent resources should be engaged to conduct a formal maturity assessment and prepare a Capability and Workforce Plan report for Council. This next phase will require budget allocation, resource allocation and project prioritisation.
