We have our community development. Are there any conflicts of interest before we begin? No? We've got our community development officer, Ann Hyde, here to give us an overview on the matter before us.

Ann. Thank you, Councillor. The recommendation before you today is to accept the non-powered water sports feasibility study and refer to findings of the study for future planning. The need for this study has come out of both the sport and active recreation plan and the Noosaville Foreshore Land Use Management Plan, which were both endorsed in 2019. And it's really to look at the need to consolidate and non-powered water sports storage and mitigate ad-hoc infrastructure development along the Noosaville Foreshore. We engage Ross planning to as a consultant to undertake this study. They've considered the not-for-profit club use. Trends of each of the sports and future projections both population projections and the trends in each of the sports. The study looked at 13 sites along the Noosaville Foreshore under three different sections to determine where was the most appropriate where a co-located non-powered sports precinct could be housed, if at all. The rear of the Noosa yacht and rowing club was deemed to be the most appropriate location given quite significant site constraints along the Noosaville Foreshore in terms of access to land, considering the water access that's required for each of the sporting activities and environmental concerns. And so what we have before you as part of the report is some high level concept plans which will feed into the work currently being undertaken. And due to be completed in next concept August plans next year.
